Guide for Appropriate DressĀ

The following dress code will apply to all Frontline Student Ministry activities (including Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights) and trips. It applies to all students and leaders. Our goal is to maintain a respectful atmosphere that is honoring to Christ. To ensure that we maintain a Christ-like culture and an open opportunity to share the gospel, the following guidelines will be required.

  • Clothing may not contain language, pictures, advertisements, or symbols of an offensive nature.

  • Sleeveless shirts should be modest in every way. Shirts that are low-cut, tight-fitting, ripped, or cropped in a way that is revealing are not permitted.

    • When partnering with other organizations, we will adhere to any outside dress codes (I.E. No sleeveless shirts while working with Deep Impact)

  • Shorts should be modest in length (mid-thigh or longer), with no short-shorts being permitted. Tight-fitting exercise/spandex shorts are not permitted.

  • Clothing with tears or holes in inappropriate places is not permitted.

  • Clothing should not be tight-fitting or revealing.

  • Closed-toed shoes should be worn on all mission/service projects (See your specific project information for details).
  • Should a trip involve an opportunity to swim, all swimwear must be modest and fit the following requirements:

      • Males: short-style worn on the hips, not below.

      • `Females: one-piece suits, or two-piece suits on which the two pieces meet. A t-shirt must be worn over any swimwear that does not meet the appropriate dress standards.
